expansion of the national museum in Szczecin, POLAND
This project was completed during the first semester of a master's degree program at the West Pomeranian University of Technology in Szczecin. This project aimed to design a contemporary addition to an existing historical museum while preserving the old structure and the trees located in the middle of the plot. The new museum is characterized by cubical dynamic forms and a frontal fully-glazed facade that adds lightness. The large reliefs in front of the museum's facade were inspired by the original details located in the historical museum's facade.
